Aliens, Angels, UFOs, Extraterrestrials, Demons, Super Power Beings, Super Natural Beings, Inhuman Mutant, Flying Saucers Etc ... can be easy and hard to believe at the same time, depending on how the issue can be accepted in the first place .... or not.
There are two faces to the subject:
1- The religious face and its sub faces of Myth, History and Supernaturals.
2- The scientific face.
Since Governments always induce Scientists to hide facts, we have to try and look at this matter from its other face - Religion and see if we can sprinkle some scientific hints.
To believe that there are Aliens and Angels, and consequently UFOs, there must be a general belief that there is life on other planets, and not only on planet Earth.
Otherwise if not, there is no such things as Aliens and Angels and certainly no UFOs or otherwise extraterrestrial beings..
On 7th August 1996, NASA announced a conclusion that there are evidence of microscopic life forms that may have existed on Mars more than 3 billion years ago.
Although this announcement were challenged at the time, numerous discoveries followed later, like the discovery in 1997 that there is a possibility of red-coloured sea under ice crust on Jupiter's Moon Europa, which continued to ask the same question; Is anyone out there?
From the religious side; the three main religions, Islam, Judaism and Christianity, confirm the fact that Angels and other living beings, exist somewhere with God in Heaven, or skies or somewhere between.
But the question remains if there is also creatures like Humans, Inhumans and Animals or any material forms up there?
Let us strat with what the Quran says.
In the Sura 42 (Al Shura, Vesre 29) of the Quran, we read; "Among His (God's) signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth,and the living beings that He has scattered through them; and He has power to gather them together when He will."
If we accept the word "Heavens" in Arabic also means "Skies"; we may understand that in this verse God means "Birds" in the skies .. However we see the Quran in another verse separates birds from the "Living Beings"; in Sura 24 (Al Noor, Verse 41) we read: "Seest thou not that it is God Whose praise all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread?..."
In Sura 16 Al Nahl (Verse 49) we read "And to God doth obeisance all living beings who are in heavens and earth, and the angels, ...".
So, we may understand that according to Quran, there are up there, "Living Beings" that are not identified or defined, and "Angels"
The Planetary Society, a private organization, in which the film director
Steven Spielberg is a member of the Board of Directors, has the largest
SETI program in the world. So far, they claim that no sign of alien intelligent life has turned up.
We read in Sura 27 Al Naml Verse 65 :" Say: None in Heavens or on Earth, except God, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment)."
Another indication that there are other "Beings" in the universe that will also be raised from the dead.
In Sura 19 Maryam Verses 93-96, we read "Every (being) in Heavens and Earth must come "an Obedient" to the Merciful (GOD).
"He does take an account of them (all), and hath exactly numbered them (all)". "And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment".
"Those who believed and did righteousness, (God) The Merciful shall bestow passion upon them."
Here we may understand that the "Living Beings" who are up there, and those who inhabit Earth, are similar in their deeds, and what they do in their "Life" times.
In Sura 72 Al Jinn Verses 1-15, we may understand that there are another type of creatures, called Al Jinn, who live somewhere in another dimension of the Earth or in a closer sky to Earth.
We also understand from these verses that these Jinn may have been punished by God, and they used to have visits between them and Humans, and they have been then abandoned to reach Earth, but were able still from where they are to see and hear what Humans are doing on Earth.
Another interesting and intriguing issue we can see In Sura 55 Al Rahman Verse 33, where we read "O ye the Gathered Societies of Jinn and Humans! If you can penetrate the dimensions of Heavens and Earth, penetrate ye! But you cannot penetrate except with Authority (From God)!"
Is God asking us to try and travel to another dimensions of Earth and Sky, or may be to travel into space? To meet the Jinn?
If so, then this might explain the concept of UFO and the Flying Saucers!
Otherwise, how can us and all these creatures travel?
Would our "Space Ships" and "Shuttles", be considered as UFO's Flying Saucers" to the " other living creatures".
Scientists have been looking for other planets around other stars- planets that have the right conditions to harbor life- in other words,other Earth(s).
In October 1995, scientists announced the discovery of the first extrasolar planet around the star
51 Pegasi. Since then,there have been a string of non-stopping discoveries of other planets.
Although some of these objects have been dismissed as brown dwarfs (including the object around Pegasi 51) by some scientists, at least some of the fifteen objects are agreed upon as being planets.
Scientists believe that on potential moons around planets found to be orbiting two stars, the right conditions may exist for life to be present.
In Sura 65 Al Talaq Verse12, we read," God is He Who created seven heavens and of the earth a similar number..." !?
In his book, The Bible, The Quran and Science, Maurice Bucaille writes,"...it comes as no small surprise to the reader of the Quran to find that earths such as our own may be found in the Universe...".
According to Quran, it may be possible that the term "Living Beings inhabiting Skies", is same what now used as "Aliens", and the word "Skies" or Heavens" is what scientists refer to as Galaxies and Universe.
A universe teeming with life, a place that the late astronomer Carl Sagan described as a "cosmic fugue, with themes and counter- points, dissonances and harmonies, a billion different voices playing the life music.".
The very first verse of the Quran begins,"Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds."
Not one world but many!!!
Some Islamic researchers claim that
Ibn Abbas who was one of the Companions of the Prophet Mohamed was blessed by God upon request of the Prophet to acquire the knowledge of the Quran, and so he became one of the great scholars of the Quran.
Ibn Abbas believed with confidence that there are many more earth-like bodies in the heavens.
He not only thought that such earths are inhabited by intelligent beings but also that their people are exactly like the inhabitants on the Earth, and they have experienced similar episodes of creations.
When we read in the Bible “Our Father, Who art in Heaven,” may be we have to think that "Heaven" is a physical place above the outermost shell of stars surrounding the Earth.!
The Bible, (both Old and New Testaments) is filled with accounts of encounters with "Living Creatures" from "Heavens". They came on special "Chariots"!
The “smoking fire-pot and a flaming torch” that appeared in the sky to Abraham as a sign of acceptance of his sacrifice (Genesis 15:17).
The “pillar of cloud” by day and the “pillar of fire” by night that led Moses and the Israelite (Exodus 13:22).
God landing on Mount Sinai in smoke, with a sound of a trumpet before them (Exodus 19:18-19).
Elijah being “carried up to heaven” in a “chariot of fire” which created a whirlwind (II Kings 2:11).
And Ezekiel’s famous psychedelic close encounter (Ezekiel 1:1-28).
Some Christian ministers, argue that many of the terms describing such glorious and shining lights could be descriptions of UFOs. Even the shape believed to be the Holy Spirit that was seen to “descend like a dove” at Christ’s baptism and the “bright cloud” at the Transfiguration, (Matt. 17:1-8) might have been extraterrestrial craft.
After the Crucifixion, yet another of these fellows came out of the sky, rolled the stone away from the tomb and announced the Resurrection. And at the end of Jesus mission on Earth, he rose into the air and “a cloud took him out of their sight” while two of those mysterious Men in White consoled the disciples (Acts 1:6-11).
Until recently, the Roman Catholic Church held that only supernatural entities such as God, Jesus and Mary, angels or demons produced signs in the heavens. However, in the last several years, a new view has been quietly put forth.
When in Rome...Monsignor
Corrado Balducci, a recently-retired theologian who specialized in demonology and exorcism for the Vatican, has appeared on Italian TV and stated that there are entities that are not demonic, not due to psychological impairment, not a case of entity attachment but deserve to be studied carefully.
He said there is too much evidence for the existence of extra-terrestrials and flying saucers.
Four centuries ago,
Giordano Bruno was burnt to death for impudently suggesting that the stars around us were solar systems peopled with living worlds.
Today the Church is not denying this possibility.
If those " Living Creatures" in the skies have lived long before the time of Humans, then it might be possible that they are much advanced in technology and science.
They might be also more spiritually advanced.
Some scholars believe that no matter whether there are good and bad angels, all angels are more intelligent and powerful beings than mere humans.
The rebellious angels were smart enough to influence people to worship them as gods, when they descended to Earth before the Flood, and deceived humans (Genesis 6).
The angels are represented throughout the Bible as a body of spiritual beings who intermediate between God and men: "You have made him (man) a little less than the angels" (Psalm 8:6).
Angels, just as mankind, are created beings; "praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him, all His hosts ... for He spoke and they were made. He commanded and they were created" (Psalm 148:2, 5: Colossians 1:16, 17).
The Bible inform that God created countless "non- human intelligent beings" before mankind. God is known throughout the Bible as the Lord of Hosts: Rule and fear are with Him, He makes peace in His high places. Is there any number to His armies? Job 25:2
According to the Bible, Intelligent beings who live in the atmosphere around and above the Earth are under the authority of the Lord of Flying Things, the Prince of the Power of the Air. Baal is identified as Satan by Jesus himself, Matt.10:25 Mark. 3:22 Luke 11:15. Paul says we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers, with spirits in high places, literally, "in the heavens" "in the aerial regions" Eph.6:12.
While the New Testament uses the Greek word "demon" to refer to the "sons of the mighty", the Old Testament uses revealing descriptive names. Words which describe these beings, such as b'nai Elohim meaning "sons of God", Zophim meaning "the watchers", and Malakh meaning "messengers", (this reference was translated angel in English), are used for the "aerial host" often regardless of alignment.
The
Book of Enoch tells the origin of certain "inter-dimensional intelligences" -- called in the monotheistic New Testament "demons", who were understandably associated with evil because originally the Greek term "diamon" meant "any deity" -- was in the Days of Noah, and didn't end with the Flood but continued according to Genesis 6, "even after".
The word which is translated, "giants", in the King James version of the Bible is, in Hebrew, "Nephilim", which means, "Those who fell, or ... the fallen ones".
Jude, the brother of Jesus describes them as "angels, having left their first estate in heaven". These fallen angels came to earth for their own purposes, to interfere in the development of human civilization.
Scripture uses other names to describe these degraded fallen angels and their descendants in addition to the word Nephilim, they are...
Rephaim - from the root rapha = spirits, shades Gen. 14:5
Anakim - race of giants Num. 13:33 descendants of Nephilim
Emim - the proud deserters, terrors, race of giants Gen. 14:5
Zuzim- the evil ones, roaming things Gen. 14:5
Zamzummims - the evil plotters, Deut. 2:20
Zophim - watchers, angels who descended Num. 23, distinct from "holy watchers" aligned with God
Sepherim - the many. . . .
The
book of Jubilees remarks that Jared or Yeh-red, an Old Testament patriarch, was so called because in his days the angels descended upon the earth - Yaw-rad means "descend".
Intriguing enough, the word "Jordan" comes from that same root word denoting "descent, coming down or falling" - Yar-dane "the place of the descent".
Scholars claim that, if the source of the Jordan river is Mount Hermon - then it is the point of descent of the Watchers.
Mt. Hermon resides in the ancient land formally known as "Sidonia".
John Keel theorizes that all angelic manifestations in the Bible were simply the same beings now claiming to be aliens.
In the Bible there are both encounters with Godly angels doing His will, and encounters with rebellious angels who seek to lead mankind astray and undermine God's credibility. The qualities of God's angels might be shared by their rebellious counterparts.
Since God's angels manifest in miraculous ways, it may be assumed that the angels who "do their own thing" manifest in miraculous ways as well.
Those miraculous ways might as well be "Flying Saucers"....
The Torah mentioned this phenomena many times:
"Behold, he [Yahweh] shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind..." (Jeremiah 4:13).
"Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud..." (Isaiah 19:1).
"And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night..." (Isaiah 4:5).
There are also many specific cases described in both Testaments of the Bible in which strange objects appear in the sky:
Throughout their wanderings in the desert, the
Elohim guide the Hebrews from above, riding ahead in various craft. Perhaps the best example takes place during the exodus from Egypt: "... the children of Israel went up and harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light..." (Exodus 13:18,21).
The story continues with a pursuit by the Egyptian army. "And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them... but it gave light by night to [the Hebrews]: so that the [Egyptians] came not near the other all the night." (Exodus 14:19-20).
The prophet
Ezekiel, a frequent recipient of extraterrestrial visitations, described a strange object in the sky: "And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud and a fire enfolding itself, and a brightness was about it..." (Ezekiel 1:4).
The passage in Genesis 18 and 19 is a classic example. The two "men" who accompanied the Lord to visit Abraham had feet to be washed (18:4), bodies to rest (18:4), mouths and stomachs with which to eat food (18:5,8), faces (18:22), and legs on which to stand and walk (18:2,22).
So....
Did "Intelligent aliens - Beings" really come to Earth from outer space?
Did they breed with human women?
Did they give birth to a new kind of offspring hybrids?
Did they change Or are they changing the course of mankind in this world?
Do they exist at all?
Who Knows?!
